The Connecticut Department of Housing, Regional Plan Association, and partners across Connecticut recently published a guidebook to help municipalities develop their local affordable housing plans, as required by State statute § 8 – 30j: Planning for Affordability in Connecticut: Affordable Housing Plan and Process Guidebook. It outlines what should be included in an affordable housing plan, how such plans align with other documents like a Plan of Conservation and Development, and how to build support for a plan among varying audiences.
