Darien Talks Housing

This is the seventh session in the series. Darien residents, in partnership with Fairfield County's Center for Housing Opportunity, are inviting the members of the community to join them for a conversation about the legislative session and HB 6107, which was recently signed into law.

Panelists include Senator Bob Duff, Majority Leader of the Connecticut State Senate, Representative Cristin McCarthy Vahey, and Bill Welz of Gallo & Robinson.

Senator Bob Duff represents Connecticut’s 25th Senatorial District, which includes Norwalk and Darien. Re-elected to the State Senate in 2020, he was chosen by his Senate colleagues in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021 to serve as Senate Majority Leader.

Representative Cristin McCarthy Vahey represents Fairfield's 133rd Assembly District. She is House Chair of the Planning and Development Committee.

Bill Welz previously worked for the Office of Governor Dannel P. Malloy, starting as the Executive Aide to the General Counsel, moving up to Senior Associate for Policy and Government Affairs and finally to Director of Policy.
